Annual Golf Classic Supports Patient and Employee Satisfaction

The Auxiliary of Rush Oak Park Hospital event will be Monday, September 10

Oak Park, IL (August 23, 2012) — Entering its 105th year of service, the Auxiliary of Rush Oak Park Hospital is proud to support ongoing efforts to improve patient and employee satisfaction and safety through its 9th Annual Golf Classic on Monday, September 10.

This year’s golf classic will raise funds for the rejuvenation of the corridor leading to St. Lucy Chapel on the second floor of the hospital. For many people, spirituality plays a significant role in health and healing. At Rush Oak Park Hospital, St. Lucy Chapel provides a calm and quiet space for prayer, reflection and worship. Many patients, their families and friends, employees and visitors use the chapel for these purposes, and approximately 130 people attend Mass there every Saturday.

The golf classic will be at St. Charles Country Club, 1250 Country Club Road in St. Charles. Cost is $350 per player; $650 for a twosome; $1,300 for a foursome; or $125 for dinner only. The golf package includes a buffet lunch followed by 18 holes of golf, cocktails and dinner. Also included are a check-in gift, golf cart, and access to the locker room, putting green and driving range. Several sponsorship opportunities also are available. Proper golf attire is required; no denim allowed. To learn more or to register, please visit: http://www.golfinvite.com/rophgolfouting.
